Glad Summer Music, group and individual sessions for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder ran for three weeks over the summer holidays. Joni Linsday and Laura Corrigan had a great time, leading everyone on pirate adventures, landing on Skull Island and searching far for treasure. It wouldn't be a Hear My Music project without some deviation from the planned theme and some of us enjoyed exploring using walls, doors, chairs and boxes as musical instruments. Of course there were several creative remixes of the banana song too.

This project was funded by Shared Care Scotland Short Breaks fund. It was a fantastic way to introduce new children to the concept of out of school music activities and we were lucky to work with Cosgrove Care and COAST Autism group to ensure we introduced new participants to the sessions. We hope to see everyone again soon for more musical adventures.
